Alex Serena started her music career in Naples, the sunny Italian city known for its music. As a precocious 9-year-old, Alex’ father, a pianist,after he heard her singing in the car for a joke,he asked Alex to sing with him that night at his pianobar live show in Naples and, after her first public performan, she instantly feel in love with music.
On a mission to discover the music style that best expressed her sensibilities, Alex spent her youth studying a variety of music genres, including funk, , jazz and pop music,and jazz lyrical dance. In recent years, Alex found her style when she was introduced to the world of house/electronic music and started singing in dance clubs from north to the south of Italy, Milan, Verona,Florence, Bologna, Rome, Naples,Sardinia Costa Smeralda in the best house clubs like (Hollywood, Neu, Tenax, Phy Beach, La Mela,Riobò,and more… )and Swiss(Morandi, Vanilla, La Fabrique).
Alex has had the opportunity to perform with artists like house music vocalist CeCe Rogers who greatly inspired her. Alex also draws inspiration from artists like Barbara Tucker, Madonna, Annie Lennox, J Lo, and Grace Jones.
In the spring of 2011, Alex’ interest in house music brought her to WMC in Miami. Alex’ life changed there when Luigi Monti Arduini from Cafè Concerto, an Italian publishing company, introduced her to Frank Liwall, President of The Royalty Network and Krian Music Group.
Alex is now working on promotional activity and in the 2nd half of 2012 she will be working on her debut album, a mix of house, pop and dance music which will be released in the USA by Krian Music Group.
